Mission
The Louisiana Composers Forum seeks to foster and encourage intellectual and economic growth in the musical composition community of Louisiana by creating resources and opportunities for local composers and musicians, as well as informing and educating the general public about contemporary classical music. The first event will be a free concert of music by local composers, which will stimulate growth in the musical community, as well as enhance the careers of local composers. in which they nurture the creative spirit of composers and communities by providing new opportunities for composers and their music to flourish and by engaging their communities in the creation, performance, and enjoyment of new music.
